A two wheel drive tractor with a loader is a material handler, not an excavator. You can take material out of a stockpile, or possibly from a natural bank; but you can not expect to dig a hole into natural soil below grade. Even large 4WD weeeled loaders have trouble doing that. Digging below grade is a job for a backhoe or a tracked machine. Does the machine you're looking at have a 3 point hitch? Light grading, like your driveway, will be helped with a box blade and scarifiers on the back to loosen up the ground so the loader can get into it. $6000 is too much for a MF202 that needs that kind of work. I'd sell you my 1963 Ford 2000 diesel with industrial type loader for $1000 less. It has similar capability and doesn't need the repairs.
