We grow blueberries, and this time of year the fruit branches are hanging down to the ground, out in the aisles. Every year I try to invent orchard fenders, to gently lift the branches as we mow the grass. This year I finally sorta have something, a piece of 3' x 8' metal siding, sorta bent and tied on around the right side, ugly and in the way. The family laughs at me, the boys refuse to mow if their friends see them, this thing even scares the old tom cat. Anybody ever put some sort of orchard fender on a rider lawn mower? I'm looking for any and all ideas.
