I had a couple those 300s. Just like you said, not allot of power but they go forever. They were a good engine. Maybe you'll want to find a used motor and put the o'l girl back on the road. Its hard to beat a good old truck like that. I paid 40,000 for a new O7 Chev but don't want to drive it or get it dirty. So I don't use it only to pull and haul. I only got 30,000 miles on it and it still looks new. But I miss driving a old one that I don't have to worry about.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
