Boy do I have a problem with those little black ants this year. I stop them one place they fine another. I"m declaring war! I had to throw out a whole box of Cheerios the other morning when I poured a bowl and it was crawling with ants. I put an end to that but then they invaded the counter tops through a wall outlet. I stopped that and then it was another one. Stopped that and then it was where the drain pipe from the sink comes in and they found my trash can and were having a field day! Sometimes I can get them to eat liquid ant bait but sometimes they aren"t interested.
Do any of you know how those Hydramethylnon granules work? Is it poison the ants have to eat or is it something the ants touch to kill them? The brand name I have is MaxForce.
