I've often wondered how many productive man hours are lost at family gatherings by the men sitting around, bored, waiting for the women to get done talking so they can go home and get some work done.
It's been my observation that at the typical family get-together, the men can say all they want to say in about 15 minutes, while their wives are still chattering nonstop several hours later.
Wonder what the women find to talk about for so long. On second thoutht, maybe I don't want to know.
