Woodlouse is the tag that will get to the creatures in Wikipedia. They are crustacians, more like a crawdad or shrimp than a bug at all. They are not insects at all. They are only a problem if so numerous that they begin to eat live things. Dry up the moisture, keep all rotting wood and dead plant matter away from the problem area, and they will move out on their own. They prefer to feed on molding damp to wet organic matter.
