Fern(Mi) I searched all the dealers in the lower 48 states and those that advertised parts in England and Canada. Many of the parts just are no longer available. I needed a complete starter as the old one had a broken nose so it could not be rebuild. I also know of two others here local that had the internal hydraulic pump fail. They have been setting torn apart for the better part of a year now with no parts in sight yet. There are some models that are harder than some of the others but in general they all are just running on borrowed time until they have a major part fail that is no longer available. Plus many of the American models where not sold in Europe. I am glad you have had good luck with yours but I will stand behind the statement that Leyland parts are just about impossible to find.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
