If you can find enough pieces of the old belt to fill the groves in the sheaves and then run a 50' tape around it you should be pretty close. The best time to measure them is before they break, we did that with our Woods and got a belt that fit perfect and runs well for half the price of one from Woods. The outside measurement is somewhat more than the belt size, there are sites on the web that have good charts to determine size. Good luck!
