How many times have you heard a parent or guardian say...
"you live in the house that I pay for, use the utilities that I pay for, yadda yadda, you'll live by my rules" or something close...??
You look at the folks he is targeting and the majority if not all live off mine and your dime......
You can't say "fat people on welfare can't buy a big gulp" so you gotta make a blanket...
same with helmet, seatbelt, no cellphone/texting and driving etc.... I give a ratsass about the person that busts the melon or goes thru the windshield... I care about my dime that is gonna support them and/or their family while a computer eats, drinks, and shits for them...
and the family that gets wiped out cause bubba was texting....
it's a shame when you have to legislate common sense into a law but that's what it takes I guess......

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
