Give it a couple more months and keep up with therapy. I don't remember that much pain after my surgery but I had been through all hell before with almost 2 years of not being able to walk because of damage to both of my legs in a car accident. What I do remember is a LOT of hard work to be able to bend my leg straight and a lot more to get 90 degrees out of it. I had a huge amount of scar tissue removed and since I hadn't been able to bend my knee for the last 2 years, I had no muscle left to do the bending. I worked hard at therapy for 6 months before I could actually walk without a limp. I still limp after I am up on my feet for more than a half hour at a time but that has to do with left-overs from the car accident, not my knee. My new knew was the best thing to happen to me in the last 4 years. Don't give up on it and keep up the therapy.
