Well, the wifey has been at me to build a patio area with a fireplace. I had to build a retaining wall to level up the area. I have some Item 4 crushed gravel coming later this week to fill the rest of the inside to a level grade. I will fill in around the stonesfirst then put down Geotech fabric and put down the final layer gravel. I will spread the top with several bags of cement, water it down and then run the plate tamper over it, until is packed like concrete. It won't look like stamped concrete, but it will hold up very well. Good enough for this Adirondack Redneck, LOL
