The boss walked through, stopped and watched her for a minute, and when he walked off I heard him mumble under his breath, "well,Ibedam!" My eldest daughter majored in business, but married a guy with a few acres and learned to handle machinery quite well. When he decided to take a hike, she ended up with the place and bought her own tractor and equipment and maintains it very well. Occasionally I will answer the phone and hear, Dadeee, I need a little help! But she's gettin' there.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
