I was just done with lunch today and got a call from one of my nephews. He wanted to stop by and visit. You see his is my first wife's oldest sister's boy. They live in Indiana, around Fort Wayne. I have not seen much of them for many years. I have not seen him since he went into the Navy sixteen years ago.
My nephew is a Navy pilot and is on active duty. He just completed a TOP Gun class at Navel Strike & Air Warfare School at Fallon, Nevada. He was second in his class. He is just thirty-four years old but he has always wanted to fly fighters since he saw the movie Top Gun as a kid. He would watch that movie on tape so much that his Mom would have to get him a new one every six months or so. LOL.
He has turned into one heck of a good man. HE is driving home from his training before he ships out again. HE only stayed a few hours but it was great to see him again. He is not a real big size man but he sure fills his space well. He is only about 5 foot 8 and weights 175. I remember him whipping up a real big foot ball player in high school that messed with his girl friend. He will never quit while he is breathing. That drive has served him well in the service. He is going to stay in the Navy as long as he can.
Side note!!!! It was funny as soon as the grand daughters saw him I had a yard full of teenage girls over visiting them. They must have called all their friends. They must have liked seeing a good looking young pilot in his uniform. I can guess who they will be dreaming of tonight. LMAO

Today's Featured Article - When Push Comes to Shove - by Dave Patterson. When I was a “kid” (still am to a deree) about two I guess, my parents couldn’t find me one day. They were horrified (we lived by the railroad), my mother thought the worst: "He’s been run over by a train, he’s gone forever!" Where did they find me? Perched up on the seat of the tractor. I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
