Had the same problem for years. Took prilosec and zantac usually helped. Have a hernia. Last fall pain got so bad and didn't go away. Went to the Doctor sent me for sonigram. called me later that evening said had me scheduled to see a surgeon that evening. Bad gallblader with gall stones. had it taken out. Haven't had any problem since. Still take the prilosec though
