95 degrees today and muggy expecting rain.... Had to move 20 round bales about a mile RT from the field to my bunker plenty of seat time with one on the FEL and one on the 3PH fork neighbor kid's tractor is a half ton heavier than mine, bigger tires, 15 HP more and PS so made an enjoyable couple hours... THEN... Had to trim hooves on 4 horses... 3 went as usual and quick but the last was our new stallion and he made an a$$ outta himself... Acts like he was mistreated/handled around the legs before we got him (???)... Anyway, a lot of patience, sweat, fly bites, and a couple halfhearted kicks, got him manicured and lookin nice...
Kinda on a diet so had weighed myself about mid day, got in the shower a little bit ago and weighed myself afterwards... 3 pounds lighter..... Wish I could make it work like that every day
6 more pounds and I'll break 250 and be 20 pounds lighter than I was 3 weeks ago...
