My guess is that your pump is not synchronised with the flywheel.No 1 on the pump should spurt just BTDC on the flywheel.. Turn the motor over by hand. If you had the pipes sitting during summer, there is a little wasp that likes building mud castles inside. check they are all free. Had this problem with the FMD.white smoke, no go, flywheel and pump out of sinc. But make sure you have purged the fuel lines, tank to no 1 filter then to the next filter if 2 then on to the pump. done in stages.A little spurt of aerostart may help after all is complete.... best.
