: Help! I have 2 leaks in my fuel tank of my Ford 801. : One leak is in the seam where the fuel tank valve/screen assembly is bolted to the tank. It looks to br a round piece of metal riveted to the tank from the inside and it a slowly seaping from there. The other place is at the front bracket on the side above the distributer and oil filler. : there is little to no rust on the tank. Any suggestions on how to repair or (gasp!) new tank ( big bucks I know) : Anyone with experience please help. : I am wondering if J-B Weld would do the trick? I have repaired small rust holes with J-B Weld. You must have clean ,dry, bare metal to be successful . Good Luck.
