I had actually figured that 15.5x38 was the equal to a 13x38 (old size).. Actually, I Like the larger tires on my 630 (15.5x38) and 520 (15.5x38) I removed worn from my 720 D.. They don't leave ruts, etc or tear up the area when I am Mowing the wet spots..!! They sure look much better with 4 lbs of air pressure..most of the Splits closed right up..!!! The 14.9 IS a much taller tire...BUT, so are some other brands in 15.5x38..(Titan for example). Used rims, from a larger tractor may well be 12 or 14" and should be fairly Cheap... I would want to get it all done all at once and be Done with it.(and NOT need New Tubes again)..!!! I like to use PLENTY Talc when I change any Tubed Tire.. Ron..
