hello, thanks for the info. the intake gasket is new and the tank has fresh fuel. i can make some sense of the choke issue but why would it only run wide open? the butterfly opens and closes with the throttle but when i start it, it revs up to wide open and the throttle linkage does nothing i can move it open and closed still stays full throttle.have to hit the kill switch to shut her down.
