Finally getting back to cutting some hay, been so wet here it's just nuts. Here's my question, I have about 40 acres of grass hay and thats the way I want it, grass. With two very wet years in a row I have a lot of red clover, and I mean a lot. I want to get rid of it. When I spray I usually do it in the fall or the spring, this year there was never a good time. I use 2-4-d LV4. I'm thinking of spraying right after baling 1st crop, label says not to cut for hay for 30 days, that will not be a problem, want to spray the day after baling, dang clover spoiled my nice grass hay for this year, what do you think, can a guy spray mid summer and get results?? Thanks for your thoughts.
