Do you use your Internet Provider's email, or something like Hotmail, Yahoo, GMAIL, or AOL?
If you use one of the Hotmail/Yahoo/GMail/AOL online email services, nobody "logged into your computer." Nobody even touched your computer.
Online email services can be accessed from ANYWHERE. There may be a piece of malware/spyware on your computer that is sending the bad guy your username and password, or the online email site has been hacked.
In either case, there may be some spyware or malware that weasled its way on to your computer. You don't need to throw away your computer but you might want to seek professional help in ridding yourself of this stuff.
In the future, READ CAREFULLY any popup window before clicking on ANYTHING. They often fool you into installing software by using confusing wording.
When you install something you actually want, be sure that it doesn't try to install something else along with it. Look for fine print and small checkboxes.
