A lawn or garden tractor and pickup all have there place on the farm but neither will do the job you can do with an atv. I can strap my fencing tools on, carry feed in a basket that I strap on the front or do a lot of spot spraying in a hurry. Much more manuverable than a pickup and more nimble than a small tractor not to mention quicker. Can straddle the row checking crops and get into spots in the pasture you never thought of going in the pickup. Mine is an indespensable tool. That said stay away from bomdardier...poor parts support in my exprience the next one I own will be a honda. The guys who bash them have never owned one.
