I ran across an 87 GMC 1/2 ton 4x4 PU. It has an automatic trans ( 700r4 I think ). The problem is, it doesn't shift. It pulls hard in 1st or reverse (will turn the tires), but won't shift. Other problem is the engine will idle after running it up to 30 or so and letting off the throttle. The guy I picked it up from had a flush done ( W/O filter change ). I did a filter change, but still no shift. Anyone got any ideas (TV cable seems hooked from the outside) Thanks, Tim in OR
