wife wanted a bigger flower garden/crap spot, so i pushed out a old bush and gathered up all the border rocks from around it and the tree next to it. the people who built this house back in the 60's liked river rock, they laid plastic down , put big rocks down for border then piled river rock in it, musta looked good 40 years ago, then someone put some mulch down on top of that, so i had a mess.
i used the tractor to scoop up as much as i could, but i knew i would have to get the "latino backhoe" out
i was orignaly going to just make a 8 foot circle, but the maple looked like poo, so i'm going to make it one egg shaped area
one of my customer's wife purchased these rocks but lung cancer got her before she could use them, so the owner sold them to me for a bargan
these are just some pics from infront of the house, she's been laid up from a surgery so i've been watering and dead heading the petuna's
this little feller was on the front door, then wife found him in one of her pots, she screemed bloody murder until she realised what it was.
