Was terribly wet for us here in southern MN, finally getting to where a little rian would be nice, but the tile lines are still running.
Feel for you all that are so dry.
Just baled the hay off the swamp today, finally got the tile issue 1/2 fixed, and it dried off enough to drive on mostly. Had wet tires a few times, but the hay was pretty dry. Finally had a day without breakdowns, went well.
Visited the fields 8 miles north of me that had hail, beans are either replanted or jst bare, can see fuzzy stumps where the bean rows used to be. Some of the corn is actually trying to come back, but there are fields that just not much at all is there. Heard folks 'happy' they only had 25% damage to their corn. That was a big ugly hail storm a little over a week ago.
Going to be an interesting marketing year. If you have crop to market.... Seems corn always dies out at $7, buyers cut back, or switch to wheat or other. If prices stay thia high & higher, imagine how much South America will be planting.
Tho, the world might need everything it can get...
