I was disappointed to find MF 231 was made in Poland. I have been using it now for around 10 years with no major problems. I had to weld a hole in the block, and rebuild the motor when I got it. It took a beating today.I have been mowing a large field for some 6 years now. It's around 15 or so acres. There were a lot of smaler oak trees on the property. The owner had them taken out. They also ground out the root. Now the field is full of holes with a mound of dirt at each hole form the grinding operation. The holes are probably 16 in across, and 6-8 in deep. The mound of dirt is also 6-8 in high. Talk about a day or rough riding. Even thoug it pays good, I may not do it next year. I don't think my tractor, or fanny can do it again. I would think the tree people should have covered the holes up, but they didn't. Stan
