John, I've had this for about two years now and all I have done with is hay work cut, rake, ted and square bale. Really for the size of tractor it is I don't really think it does to bad on the gas. Had an Oliver 1755 that used as much as the 706 I guess. So all in all always wish it would use less but not unhappy by any means. Matt
