I forget now which bar the 411 has.... but I don't think you would need to drop the bar to fix a shaft problem above it. FInd out if the problem is in the shaft drive line or the gear box above the bar... or in the shaft between the bar and gearbox. I've had the drive splines go bad on that drop shaft on my Deere. It's an expensive annoyance to repair. Also make sure the gearbox is appropriately attached above it...
