broke the chain on the feed rollers twice in 2 days in a week. first time it got all bunched up had to take the hay head off both times and broing it home. now as of 2 days ago it wont feed forward something broke in the gear box and thats going to be an expensive fix taking it to the jd dealer cause i dont have time to do it. part of the front needed welding up from last yr because it got a good crack in it. the metal detector quite working which i liked alot. i ordered it with the proccessor and i wanted it and after it got all the paperwork and signed for everything they told me i couldnt get it and after i didnt even want to buy it but the said i could get fined or something like that. bearing went bad in a wheel the first season i used it never had one ever go bad in the other chopper. broke a sprocket the same one 3 different times in a month. i was running a new holland tm190 which is 190hp on it up till last yr. my 3950 chopper i ran my case 4690 on it rated at 200hp with no probs and ran the tm on it till i traded it and never had a prob. the 3975 is rated up to 190hp wich is the nh but still cant handle it so know i put my 9700 on it rated at 130hp and still breaking everything. im hoping to get a selfpropelled soon so i dont got to deal with it anymore and save time. aslo running a 7ft hay head and 2 row corn head but i chop very little corn with it because i usually have somebody do it for me who does custom chopping mostly because he has the proccesor on. didnt even chop any corn last yr.
