I am in N.H. towards the seecoast here the thing is what kinda neighbor are you doing this as a favor if thats it fuel and a little for wear and tear i am sure you know what he can afford. but when charging you need to figure out how much your equipment cost you and your time how much are you worth a hour we shouldnt cut our selfs short say your worth 25 bucks a hour that sounds high but your getting no benfits just raw time you have a skill say 25 for tractor thats 50 hr up north i wont touch down in a field for anything less then 75 bucks hr 3 hr min i figure i have to ussually drive half hour halfhour back home thats hour free already . Most farmers are the hardest workers and least paid i have 80 acreas of land i wish i could farm it full time. I cant for the folks that do dont undersell your products . I was raised most of my life on a dairy farm i have seen the looks on my aunt and uncles faces when they got there milk check .I have always felt our farmers have been stepton . Charge fair price but be firm you hit rock and blow a gear box it could really hurt you in the wallet
