Takes a little tweaking/modification to get acceptable seed spacing. Once set just drive. Never going to be as good as a newly rebuilt/adjusted JD finger unit but pretty close and good enough for those not wanting to plant at 6+ mph and still have 250 bu/acre bu yields. Do a search on this site and Agricutural Online, to get suggestions for improvement. Likely last four years search sufficient. The eight and twelve/sixteen row folding have the greatest variation in seed tube length and I tend to avoid them. I went with a 12 row end transport so the two seed hoppers could be evenly spaced; seed tube length variation like a 6 row. Suspect but haven't verified that if you drive slow, say 3 mph or so, seed tube length variation effect on seed spacing is minimized.
