Thanks for the info. I need the extra clearance for Eggplant, peppers and tomatoes. We dont use any herbicides so the Ford 601 cant plow for a long enough time before its too tall. I have been able to plow some pretty tall corn and okra, 3ft or more and it will stand back up, but the other plants will just break off or dislodge in the ground. I could use about 1ft more clearance but at least 8 inches more, the plants will bend some but not quite that much. The tractors I see are around 28 inches, 33 or so would be good. I would be willing to loose some hp to gain some height on any tractor.
