I'm not sure how far the cafe was from his house - we did a lot of driving that day and it all blended together. I think it was a decent distance though - not like it was right down the road.
Pappys doesn't sound right - rainbow, maybe. It was a very small place. Right on the road, a small porch and a screen door. Picnic table to the left. house across the street loaded with junk.
Kind of fancy food - and they sell wine.
I'll ask my brother next time I talk with him, he came with me.
Wish I could remmber the name of the old mill - I forget the significance of it - for some reason I thought he said it had a water wheel inside - ? can't remember. I guess they do art shows there and that kind of thing.
Oh well.
I hope to head down again sometime this year. I'll let you know if I do.
