You are not alone, deer did in the corn, my fault, ok, not really a big deal, but the darned woodchucks, well I spotted the brazen one, other 3 I dosed their holes with gasoline and they are confirmed to be done. I've never had so much trouble with them as this year, but that is ok, 3 down, 1 big ole fat one to go, I scared him off 2x today, he came back was rustling in the weeds, no hole nearby, though I could not get a sight on him, emptied a cylinder of .22 short in his direction and he still came back, all the damned vermin have finally officially p^ssed me off ! LOL ! Well I had best let it go,the uh frustration part, before I go and forget what is beyond where I need to shoot, miss or what have you. You can't have no plants around here unless they're protected, s.o.b. got under a mashed part of the old cyclone fence I used and did not see, nailed all the buds on my cucumbers, well at least he left the plant, only topped off an eggplant. Fixed that, good news is no more mice in the house, get rid of one thing, 3 other show up sheesh, really tick me off, I'll fire up the D7 and clear cut everything around me LOL !!!!
