My niece and her husband live out there. He is from that area and was in business with his dad doing auto and ag repairs. Now he's working in the fields. Thier town was about 1500 people before the boom and is now over 5K. Guess it's lucky for them that they owned a home before the boom.
Another of my nieces is married to a guy working the fields. He commutes here for his 10 days off. He figures he's going to pull in over 100K this year. His employer provides a place to stay for his 20 days on.
