Saw several in northern Va. on craigslist for sale last fall. They were selling because the price of wood was higher than LP gas. I bought mine used. Guy told me he needed to go to a larger size. When I went to pick it up the new larger Central Boiler was there ready to go on the pad where the Central Boiler I bought came off, when we loaded it up. Mine was 3 years old and I'm in the 3rd year on it since I bought it. I burn year round. Been very pleased with it.
I get my wood at no cost for the wood. I do have to cut , split and fill the stove. I have made modifications to the splitter so I can split wood from the seat. Have a root grapple and that does the rest other than cutting logs up. I hold the logs up and saw to stove length, split and pile from the seat and move the split wood with the grapple to the stove. Only put my hands on the wood when it goes in the stove door.
