My humble opinion, go Rugar and forget Taurus. I traded a 2 month old Taurus PT 24/7 9 mil for a new Rugar SR9C 9 mil. Also got the wife one. The Taurus never fit my hand the way I wanted it to and the shots were all over the target. Had to use sandbags to get close to the center. The Rugar came with adjustable backstraps and optional mag bottoms. Hit near center target everytime with the Rugar after around 100 rounds. No FTFs or FTEs with either gun. Just like the Rugar better.
