Ok guys I'll do this guy one better and make all of you who want to get rid of your 'unsafe, old, equipment' a deal. I'll be more than happy to take every piece of it you've got. In fact I'll only charge a $20 dollar per item fee to help recoupe the cost involved in storing all of the old junk until I can sell it to the folks overseas who still have the common sense to run "unsafe" equipment without killing theirselves. True I'll be laughing all the way to the bank, but hey, that's better than ya'll moaning all the way to the emergency room.....
Seriously I figure this post was meant to be tongue-in-cheak, but to be totally honest it hits the nail squarely on the head at so many levels in regard to the lack of common sense of the average person nowdays, and the lack of quality in so many of the new products we buy everyday. It's a sad state of affairs for the US any way you look at it.
