I didn't say that is what I paid, I said I know what the department paid. It was on open bids. The package included holsters, lots of extra mags and training both for the line officers and the armour guys. S&W and Ruger were a bit less, Baretta and H&K a bit more. The people that volunteered in the trials just prefered the Glock. Anyway, all bids averaged on either side of $1400 a unit for everything. A long way from your $50, and it was the people that were going to carry them that decided. However, any officer could carry anything he wanted, once approved, few did though. You may be amazed to hear this, but almost no police carry backup weapons. Have you looked at a cops belt. How much do you expect a guy to carry. Anyway, I think you need to see a psychiatrist, you have a irrational hatered of Glocks, seem a bit to fixated on my dancing abilities, and like guns a pimp would be proud to own.
