I got stuck with a short notice overseas assignment in the late 80's, was not able to sell my mobile home so I towed out to the folk's farm and pickled it for the year I was gone. County didn't allow mobile homes so I couldn't hook up gas or water to it. Put about $40.00 worth of mothballs in it before I left, no mice or mouse damage when I pulled it out a year later. On a side note it sure pi55ed of the county it was there, even more when mom would tell them if they have concerns to contact ME here's the phone number and remember Greece is 6 hours ahead of us when you call, or you can mail him at the APO box but allow three to four weeks for it to get to him and three to four weeks for a response. We had more county squads coming down our road that year then all the activity for the other 27 years the folks were there, guess we know what's important to the county- mobile homes were they shouldn't be, not the unlawful burning, murder, rape, speeding, shooting into occupied dwellings, and burglary.
