I had the same problems with a Poulan, carried it back to Wallyworld, got my money back and bought a Stihl 025, couldn't start it very easily because of high compression. I sold that one to a friend, bought a Stihl 250 MS with the easy start system and I love it, but I'm going to sell it and probably but the Oregon battery powered one. Can't run a gas powered one any more because I had to have a pacemaker implanted last fall. Both my cardioligist and pacemaker manufacturer said gas powered chain saws are a no-no.
