Fawteen read my posting closer. The old number was for individual shoes. About 10-15 years ago they started selling them in an assembly or set of two shoes. If you go to jdparts.com it is a little confusing. The quantity shows two for left and two for right but if you actually mark them to go to "shopping cart" the system picks up on the fact that it is an assembly and it will only show one assembly per side.
The system only shows the latest part information if you post the part to a shopping cart. This includes availability and later sub-numbers.
So the total cost for both sides would only be the $212 and change. That is about double the aftermarkets ones you found on line. That is about normal for after market parts. Your shoes could even be Yanmar ones as I know they and JD kind of fell out when JD started building their own complete line of compacts. I have seen Yanmar parts shipped direct here through Canada that where much cheaper.
