As for a generator, I'm going to my local lawn and garden store where I buy mower parts and see I can get for the generators. Also see if he sells Stihl electric saws. Can't seem to find them on line.

Northern tool has some 3kw generators for less than 400 bucks and that WORX saw you're lookin at should be a keeper...
Check out amazon <300 buck generators... China is china no matter where you get it...
I bought a 3kw (230 volt) generator at the ALDI (grocery) store 10 years ago for 220+/- bucks. Have never had the spark plug out of it, it sets outside in the weather all year (will change this year), fill the tank and fill again when empty (??? months/years). Only thing I replaced was the recoil rope/spring. Starts on the 2nd or 3rd pull and does fine.
Have you thought about a power inverter instead of a generator) no pulling a rope or breathing fumes.
I have a couple or 3... 50 watt for running hair clippers on the pasture (foal branding time), a 200 watt one that someone gave me that I use to take up space, and a 2kw one that I use with either the tractor or car to run a sump pump to transfer water.

After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
