I was traveling up that way about 3 years ago with a half empty trailer, I called about a 25 year old hay header for a new holland chopper, the guy told me about 6 times in a 3 minute phone conversation that his price was firm and he was priced with the market etc. I had not asked him to cut the price, I never do that over the phone, I go look with cash in my pocket and then make an offer or pay the asking price, depending on the condition of the equipment. I did not go look after that diatribe, I guess they either hold out to get their price or have a yard full.
