Stan,My neigbours told me they watched a big raccoon come accross our lawn until our Tom cat stepped in..and chased the coon off,he also would go after a dog that came into the yard,on one occassion this dog came into our yard and went down our back stairway...Jake went down after the dog..I figured the cat for a gonner but there was a hell of a fight and the dog came tearing outta there with the cat right after him..Jake was a mean cat,around 24 pounds..he lived to be 23 years old,I buried him four years ago...the best cat I ever owned and I;ve had a bunch
