No permit, loaded .357 in the nightstand on my side 9mm on wife's side,loaded shotgun under the bed. I ain't scared just feel more comfortable that way. Friend of ours lives out in the country hears something in living room in the middle of the night. Gets up, turns on the light finds a Mexican in his house with a machete. The guy heads back towards his children's bedroom he dives over couch and tackles the guy and takes machete from him in time for his wife to come out with shotgun and hold him for 1.5 hrs till police arrive. Didn't even make the news. When seconds count police are only minutes away. Ron
