The local New Holland dealer had a salesman whose career went back to the 8N days. Actually it was two separate careers as this fellow retired then came out of retirement. It was interesting to hear him recount the 8N days from a salesman's perspective. He was a sharp man and too bad he is not with us anymore. One his best stories was a hard to impress customer that told him if the salesman's 8N could take a plow at operating depth up a rather serious incline he would buy the 8N. Needless to say the 8N performed the task but he admitted he was just a little concerned as to what would happen if for some freak reason it did not (artesian spring on the hill) make it as this customer was just a little on the nutty side.

Today's Featured Article - Product Review: Black Tire Paint - by Staff. I have been fortunate in that two of my tractors have had rear tires that were in great shape when I bought the tractor.
