I have a 1963 GMC 4000 Fire truck that is in really nice shape, with just over 8,000 original miles. It has a good running 305 V6 and a working 4+2 transmission and rear end. It came out of service in 2007, and has been stored inside since then. It is still fully equipped and the pump works. I've advertised it for sale locally but all I get are guys who want to strip it and use it for parts to fix up street rod trucks. I don't want that to happen to this engine. I don't have to sell it, but would kind of like to have more space in my shed as I don't really need this truck either. If I could get it into the hands of the right person/agency, I'd let it go if we could agree on a price. Can anyone advise me where to advertise this where fire truck collector folks could be made aware of it? I'm in Minnesota. Thanks

From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
