I don't remember a lot of things, but about 25 years ago while stationed in Missouri. 3 of us loaded up and ventured to some town way out in the boonies to attend a funeral of one of the shop civilian's kid (cancer)... Anyway, we'd spent a lot of time with the kid and weren't taking things real well.
Stopped to get gas at this little 2 pump store in the middle of nowhere. Had one of the coke machines out frt that you open the little door and pull out the bottle by the cap. Asked for the restroom and it was a double outhouse out back. Went to the cooler and had to move cups of bait out of the way to get a coke. Anyway, grabbed a qt of oil, had the gas, and we set our cokes on the counter... Guy looked at everything, scratched his head a little and started to give us a total. Buddy grabbed a cigar and 2 candy bars and laid them with the cokes. The look that guy gave was priceless....... He went in the back and came back with a pencil/paper, wrote everything down and added it up with a calculator (no register, just a cash box)....Gave us something to laugh about the rest of the trip/day and took our minds off a little... Don't remember just where it was but can see the place like it was yesterday....

Cylinders are the reason for the hydraulic circuit. They take the fluid power delivered from the pump and magically change it into mechanical power. There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
