I walked into one of our fields today, it was planted after 1st crop on June 8th. I'd say it was over 7 ft., maybe 8 ft where I was. I've seen much taller for late season corn, but it still ain't too bad.
Our corn won't be over the top of our chopper box this year tho like it was last year... We're still feeding last years corn silage and haylage, which is a life saver this year. We're expecting a good 4th crop, which we'll cut in about 2 weeks after I'm back from a camping trip with my brothers.
In the mean time I'm working on the new chopper that we bought, and I'm hoping to have it ready for this years corn. If not I'll be praying our Fox will make it through the season without a major break down.
